My TPW went from 7/16 to 7/30 which is really inconvenient as my current vehicle is being sold on 7/26. No car for at least 3 weeks with a 60 mile round trip commute to work. Woohoo!
Troy,
We are 15 cars apart in sequence. My car went 3100 with a tpw of 7/23, and when it was sequenced it became 7/30. I've tried to figure out if it was early in the week or late. Just doing the math it looks like 08/06 @ ~8:15 in the morning. So without OT I doubt the 7/30 tpw. On the brighter side, there is a car much later in seq.# with 7/30 tpw so maybe my monday 8/6 guess is wrong.
BTW I'm in the same boat, my 01 sold 6/25. I'm driving an old truck, no A/C and it's been real hot some days! Can't wait for for our #'s to come up!
T.P.W. was given to me by a printed format by dealer.
BOB,
I feel a little better knowing im not alone I'm sure the time will go by quickly for us,I hope!
thanx

I was wondering whats happening, too. Maybe I'm panicking a little early, but my TPW is still in limbo. My dealer, and GM, gave me a TPW of 8/6, and like everyone I got excited that I would make the Labor Day Museum delivery deadline. Then Sonny called me with a TPW of 8/27, which makes me miss Labor Day Delivery. Hope everything works out for everyone..
Not good!
In looking at Ken's newsletter Orders that went in last week should have a TPW of 8/6/01. I could be in the same boat as you, something just does not sound right here. Maybe your dealer (and maybe mine to) have to many cars in stock.
In working with sales of exotic sports cars I dont think a dealers inventory has any effect on the production of cars,it's the factory that slows the line and the build.
Patiently Waitng Myself
