ok this member on the other forum, said he got to ride in a zo6 for the first time, and the other members gave mad props to the vette, and that just goes to show the vette is king of the road

They did but they also seemed to thing C5 prices were going to drop like a rock because of the C6.
Could be, but I doubt it.
I think the C5 is a much superior car to the C4. Hope I don't offend anyone, but I really do. However, I don't think the C6 is a major improvement. Forgetting looks for a moment, the only real difference is about 50 hp. You can bump a C5 50 hp for a lot less money than moving up to a C6. I just don't see this major drop in C5 prices coming. Maybe I'm wrong but I just think they're a good enough car that they'll hold their value until something substantially better comes along.

For the money, it is very hard to find something that will hang with th C5. Many other car enthusiasts are finding that out, as pointed out in the link.
Pretty cool thread... it's funny that it turned into comparing the looks of the C5 to the C6
AWD is definitely faster off the line, but there's something special about being able to smoke the tires at will.

i like that, when i drive my dad's 69 427 vette, i get a whoel different rush, the awd twin turbo is a whole another expirence,
