I'm still waiting for my yellow Z06 order (or any other color for that matter) to be accepted and I'm the first on the list at my dealer. Just curious how others are doing and whether I should switch to another dealer.

If it helps, we have an available yellow/red 2002 Z06 available. Also still have a red, black and silver inbound. Please let us know if we can help!

Monica, I know you have a yellow one as I already talked to Rick about it. Unfortunately I really dislike body side moldings and I also prefer the black interior and no other options. However, if I decide to switch dealerships I will likely contact you again.

Our order number is DJVC5S for an Electron Blue with Mod Red Interior and we are still waiting for code 3100. The dealer said he will have this week's updated info after 2:00 this Thursday afternoon.

I'm still waiting on my order to be accepted. I would love to get the car here sooner, but I know that none of the supporting dealers could match the deal given to me by my local dealer. Of course this is the fifth Vette I've ordered from them, so I'm sure that's why I got such a good deal.........

There are plenty of us ordering through small dealers waiting for a valid GM order and acceptance code. Time will tell. Good luck,

I'm still waiting for my order to go through also, but then again my dealer gives such good deals that I'm sixth in line for 2002 Z06's. He claims that all the people before me will get theirs in July and August. I hope mine will be September or October.

Status 3100 is well into the process:
3100-Order available to sequence (now the tpw becomes more stable)

It means that the car is ready for scheduling sequence at the factory.

These are the order steps in the GM Production Order Management System (POMS):
2001-Order generated to dealer (This is the allocation to the dealer)
2005-Order replaced with GM Prospec order (allocation matched with customer options)
2050-Order changed
2500-Order sent to production, preferenced
3000-Order accepted by production control
3100-Order available to sequence (now the tpw becomes more stable)
3400-Order broadcasted for production
3800-Vehicle produced
4150-Vehicled invoiced to dealer
4200-Vehicle shipped
5000-Vehicle delivered to dealer
6000-Vehicle delivered to customer
6010-Vehicle delivery change

order and deposit in. I am about 7th in line waiting for a valid GM order and acceptance code. since I have a deal significantly under MSRP am willing to wait and it doesnt hurt that the market is likely to be a bit kinder later too.

trying to appear patient, although already ordered my first mod - got in on the GP on the partition - and have it sitting in the garage waiting patiently too...
