Default Hypertech lll programmer.....is it useful?

The guy I bought my Z06 from gave it to me......are they useful in any way for my Z06?
Or should I just toss it on to eBay?

They are only good for if you want to put some gears in your car. They also benefit the A4 guys by making them shift firmer and by resetting the shift points. Power wise it wont give you any hp at all. When I had my 98 Transam it gave me an additional 3hp on the dyno and mine was an A4. I say sell it on Ebay and take the money and spend it for something more useful.

If the previous owner down loaded the factory settings into the Hypertec and then up loaded the Hypertec settings to the Z you need to either keep the unit or go through the process or all that's in the Hypertec is the factory setting from your car.....
