[Z06] New 6th Gear Possible?

Would it be possible to replace the tall overdrive 6th gear in the M12 Z06 transmission with a more normally spaced 6th gear so we could hit top speed in the top gear like many other cars?
If so, where can I get it, and how much does it run?

It depends on the design of the transmission and I don't know it's internals but calling Tremec would be a good start. They might not modifythem themselves but might be able to tell you who might.
