Display - going, going gone ...
My friend and I both have 97 coupes and we're having the same problem. HV/AC display started dimming a few months back and now
can't read display at all. My friend removed his unit, cleaned the connections and this seemed to help (a little bit) but soon after
display disappeared again. Is there a fix for this other than replading the display unit? I couldn't find a previous thread on this subject.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Common problem. I heard the only way is to replace the unit. I think you can get them under $300. I'm cheap so I've been guessing my Temp for a year. I've seen threads on this, maybe someone can find it for you.

I read one thread where the forum member remove the unit and resolder the connection and worked but that thread is probably in the old archives

I haven't heard of anyone trying to repair them. They usually just replace them.
I may try to resolder the connection.
