I would assume in the drag race the z16 must have spun because this whole video is opposite I what I expected

Looks like the C5 driver needs to take some launch lessons from Ranger...
Let's face it, the C6 is close enough to the Z06 that it is going to catch it every now and again.
p.s. no no on public roads...but, very nice private drag strip!

Both cars are fantastic. The old Z holds it own very well. But launching a Z takes skill which many of us don't have. If the C6 is an A4 it's point and shoot and see ya.
But doing this on a public road is a

Cool Vid! I think with a better launch the C5 would have done better. The cars are pretty much equal in acceleration.
Oh yea, and of course none of the rest of us ever put the pedal down on a public road....

From a roll, it was no contest... the Z jumped ahead immediately and kept pulling.

I wish we knew if the C6 was MN6 or A4. That would explain the 40mph roll differenct.

The C6 was a auto according to the video..... Supposedly the auto c6's have problems kicking down a gear if above their sweet spots. I hear they like 30 and 70 as far as tranny response????? It definitely would be interesting to see a M6 vs M6 as the Z should win but I would expect it to be alot closer.....
