Are we all granted memberships upon purchase of a NEW Vette?
Or must we join up initially????

Ummmmm ... that would be a ........ no

Unless your dealer is a heck of a guy ... You have to join individually (annual or lifetime)

No free membership that I'm aware of. It is possible that Museum Delivery may include a membership, but I am not sure...

Nope.... No museum delivery for me. But I immediately received stickers and a card. And I still get letters, so I was wondering if its more of a Mass Mailing or if I had a membership.
Thanks

According to the museum website, its $50 a year for individual membership, $1500 for lifetime membership. With a yearly membership, you get a membership card, free admission to the museum and a bunch of freebies including a year's subscription to America's Sports Car magazine. Did you get any of these? If you did, you're dealership probably paid $50 bucks to get you a year's membership.

My understanding is that there is a free trial membership included with the purchase of a new Corvette. Not sure if it's for 6 months or a year. In fact, I believe there is a card in the glove box put there at the factory. Does not have to be NCM delivery.

When I bought the 04, the dealer, Lone Star Chevrolet, paid for a 1 year membership to the NCM.

It comes with the owners manual on new car purchases. 6 months free membership. I had already paid for a year when I bought the new car. Just called the museum and they extended the membership by 6 months.

With museum delivery, you get a year's membership. Otherwise, you have to join. I would highly recommend it - I've been a member since 1990 and its great knowing that I am helping support the museum.

Yep. They are a great group of folks up there and it is well worth supporting the Museum.

There was a postcard I mailed in after purchasing my new Vette which stated a free 6 month membership to the Museum. When I got my membership card, it was for a year!

The card I received when I bought the car said a free 6 month membership. I sent in the card, but didn't get the info back yet.

I was a member with my 98 and then in 02 I did the museum delivery and the museum renewed it for next year. Since I was caught up in my delivery I went ahead and became a lifetime member.
enjoy your free 6 months and then become a full time member
