Default Racing Stripes...

Has anyone done this on here........i think that they could look really good on a FRC.....

I've seen a few pics of the Fender strips and they look good......

My FRC is Pewter so i figured i would go with a Red accent.......what do you guys think?

Thanx

I was a BIG FAN of racing stripes when I owned all my other sports cars.. are you going to put them on one side or both sides? I like the classic down the middle of the car look or down the driver's side. I haven't seen many vettes done that way but I'd sure like to see some examples.

Not for me. Think it's too much bling bling. But hey it's not my car. To each his own.

I've seen some of the stripe kits that Mike sells and they are very nice. Good material and not too bad to install. Plus, if you ever get tired of them, you can take them off without repainting. This is a good way to go if you want stripes.

Have far down that rear of the vette do your stripes run.....just curious.
How long of a strip did you have to get to do your car too.....if you remember off hand.... thanx

and

JDs00PewterCoupe
Are you fender stipes only on one side or on both.......i've heard of it both ways......just seems like they would be on both

Oh and any links for someone who would have the straight long stripes like XCELER8s would be appreciated too.

Thanx everyone

I'm seriously considering silver ghost rally stripes. I've never seen that and I think it would be subtle as well as unique

All the way. Only way to go if you ask me. But with the new Tiger Shk setup I dont think it would look that good. I had it done, I did not do it. WAY TO HARD to go over curves. Took them 8 hours.
Heres my old rear and its the best pic I have of it sorry.

Those are the most easy to cut since they are just straight.
If you can tell me how wide are they and I will cut for you in any color using top quality vinyl.
-Mike
***Exceler8, could you tell us how wide was your stripes?
I will post up in this forum to see how many interesting in this?
Thanks,
-Mike

The stripes are 8inchs wide each and its 4inchs spacing between them.
Its the exact setup of a 97-98 Viper GTS.
