Default A&A Frame Savers

On the wheel brackets, does the kit come with a template and/or instructions where to drill the hole in the front Frame brackets to install the wheel brackets?

Thanks

I dunno, but here's a pic of them ... I just had Andy's guy install 'em ...
Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the pic. Did they weld them in, or just use the bolts?

Used just bolts on mine though some have welded them. No templet but position them like the pic.

I just used the bolts and "eyeballed" the position. Wasn't hard no real way to mess it up.

I just recieved my frame savers from A&A and they came with mounting instructions and a diagram showing and describing how to mount them. The instructions make it very clear and they are easy to follow.

If you want the frame saver's to really do what they are supposed to do then you need to weld them on after you drill and install, if not the first time you bump something hard you will bend the 3/8 bolt (or maybe 1/4 bolt)that is the "crank shaft" of the wheels which need to roll on the shaft(bolt) and is not designed to hold up the weight of your car, by welding the brackets on them on you will move the stress point from the bolt's to the frame trust me you will be disapointed if you think you can rely on any product as such with out welding

I never thought of it that way, but I believe you are correct. Mine are welded, which I thought was the best way to avoid having them rotate on axis. I has visons of riding over a parking barrier, having them rotate, and getting lodged over the top of the concrete block.

Of course, this could only occur if my wife were driving.
