Vette Doctors is definitely the best, although a bit on the expensive side. I had my Kooks LT headers installed at Vettech in Great Neck, NY. They did an excellent job, they also did my LS1-edit Dynotune that same day and transformed my baby into a tire shredding animal. Best of all, they gave me a good deal. My friend and forum member, Oh Cool, had his supercharger installed there and he had an excellent experience as well. I suggest you talk to both. If you talk to David from Vettech, tell em Alex sent ya.
someone mentioned a while back that the owner of this place went on a vette drive with a bunch of other long islnaders back in october-- is dave that guy?

If you're talking about the Fall Foliage cruise that I put together, I invited him but he couldn't make it. He does host a corvette show at his place every year, very nice turnout of some really souped up vettes.
BTW, here's vette doctor's website. It has their address and phone number. Give em both a call: http://www.thevettedoctors.com/
I was just about to ask about that.
I got a quote from david coates at motorsport tech for LT 1 3/4" stainless headers, with xpipe and magnaflow cats-- $1,300. Any comments? (I'm probably going to post a seperate post on this).
Also-- is the stock airbox REALLY that bad, or should I blow additional change on a new airbox?
