I did it ( Headlight gear)
I bought a brass headlight gear from Rodney Dickman's accessories. No I don't know him. My right headlight gear went out. It not hard once you fiqure out the instructions an how to get your hand in a narrow space. The new gear works great, no more plastic gear for me. Thanks General Motors for such a cheap plastic gear on a $48,000 dollar vette. Its new again and Im Happy.

Should be a long time before that gear wears out. Congrats on doing the repair yourself.
