I can not seem to keep my 99 coupe's battery charged. I travel frequently so it is not unusual for me to not start the car but once every 2 to 3 weeks. But lately if I let it sit 2 weeks the battery is dead. I have checked to see if I am leaving an interior light on, which I am not. I even changed the battery 6 months ago and it is still doing it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just unplug the battery? That's a pain in itself, I don't want to be resetting the LTPS all of the time. Please give me advice. Thank you in advance.
There is enough drain on the battery with the security system, etc. that infrequent driving can cause a problem - even with aftermarket batteries. Get a Battery Tender Plus and keep it hooked to your battery while the car sits.
I have my 04 at the dealers right now checking in to a battery issue. Mine first went dead about 5 months after I bought the car new. Last week it went dead again. The car was driven the week before. They are going to check to see if the car is drawing excessive volts when turned off. I suspect its the battery.. you can purchase a solar charger that plugs into your ciggy lighter and keeps it charged. I'll let you know what I find out when I get my car back.

This might be a stretch, but check the glove box light. In many instances, the door does not depress the pin enough to turn the light off. I found this to be the case with my 2K. Hope this helps.
