The Z06 Left like it was on Ice at the End , Put both Cars on a Boot (Slick) and come out of the Hole at 5000 RPM for some Real Street Racing .

IB4TL Z06 was WAY faster on every roll on, did i hear somebody missing a gear when they started from 0? I'd bet on that Z06 in another drag race.

No doubt the Z06 was faster. Appears the C6 was a pedal stomper, hard to beat in a drag race.

I must be missing something because to me it looked like in the standing 1/4 the C6 ate the Z06 up.

Very cool. Z walked it from a roll, no doubt. Honestly, the C6 got the jump on the standing Q so I am thinking they would be pretty darn equal on an equal start.

There is a great article in this month's Corvette Quarterly magazine. They clock a 2005 Z51 against a 2004 Z06.

Yes but the Z pooched it off the line and they didn't do another run. No way does a stock auto eat a well driven Z06 in the first 60 feet and this one killed. He would need to pull a 1.5 s 60' time if Z was launched right.
