Default Hatch drain water path

Does anybody know the water path of the two hatch drains? I just want to make sure I don't cover them up with the wheel well insulation project.

I know there are holes on either side of the hatch, near the pillar, outboard of the weatherstripping, but I'm not sure where the water drains to.

Thanks.

I guess you mean other than what runs onto the speakers when you open the hatch.

Next time you wash it, take your leaf blower and put it at the opening at each end. You'll see where the water comes out.

Yeah, it does sort of douse the speaker area, doesn't it?

But give me a hint ... where am I going to see it come out with the leaf blower trick?

Better way - use a air compressor, with a fitting for 'blowing'. That is small enopugh to fit comfortably over/in to the opening, and will allow you to 'hear' where it is exiting.
