Hey guys, its me the poster. I definitely reconsidered my budget... and i'm feeling dangerous! I dont know if its possible... or neccessary, but just like us corvette guys and our engines... too much is never enough. Anyways... Im looking into a JL10w7, this thing will put out some 500 watts, and they got a matching amp, real sleek, however, im looking for a box that will possibly fit in the "stealth" location of the large cargo area of the coupe... the woofer has a 8" mounting depth... is it possible to get a box that will even accomadate that? Plus, JL suggests 1.25 cubic feet of air space inside the box... is that possible? And lastly... is 500 watts too much? Ive heard amazing things about this sub and I would love to have it... but im deffinitely known for going way over board. Does anyone have anything bigger? Is it gonna sound cruddy on my stock bose speakers and head unit? Anyways, its hard to find good corvette C5 owners help online these days, but this Forum is definitely the place for great advise.
