I had one in my vert. Tried the fm modulated signal, didn't like the quality. Bought a converter to feed the signal directly from the CD changer. Still didn't sound like the advertised "close to CD quality" so I returned it and bought several 12 disk CD cartridges!

Might wanna check into sirius if you havn't gotten a provider yet, have had both, sirius has better channels.. better play lists, no tier pricing for better things either

Got the XM commander also. Great unit. The whole Sirrius vs. XM thing is all about personal preferance. I like the XM channels better and the only tier pricing they have is if you want to spend the extra few bucs to get the Opus and Anthony show, which I could care less about. Other then that all channels are commercial free, except for the talk radio channels, and the quality is pretty close to CD to me. Let me know if you have any more questions on installation or antenna location or anything else
