I'm hearing a lot of noise from the drivers side window.
I tried to locate some info on how to reduce it/eliminate it with no luck.
Can anyone help?
I would like to obtain directions on how to tighten the window.
I tried tightening and loosening the nut under the door reflector, but it didn't appear to do anything.
I don't know if yours is the same problem as I had, but I started experiencing
wind noise which seemed to be coming from the top-rear corner, drivers
door. I fiddled with the lay of the flap in that corner and fixed the problem!
Hope this helps!
Tried adjusting the falp, didn't work.
Tried searching under window adjustments, no luck.
There has to be some where directions on how to tighten theses windows.
You might be a candidate for the window tip in adjustment. You can go to this website. Click on "Enter my Corvette Website" then from the menu on the left select "How To's" and have a look at both the window tip in adjustment procedure and the Window Blow-out clip adjustment. The tip in is quite simple and since it is done in small increments you can try it and see if it helps at all.
I found a simple way to diagnose where the noise is coming from. I had a wind noise that I thought was coming from the front corner of driver's window but as I drove at 70 mph I wondered how I could pull the top of the window glass in slightly to see if that solved the problem. I thought about a small stick-on side window shade I carry in the car. It has a suction cup in the center to hold it on the window. I simply stuck it near the upper front corner of the driver's window and gently pulled on it as I was driving 70 mph and my noise went away.
That told me the window needed to be tilted in slightly.
