Default Smooth Ride Restored!

Just within the past few months the cars ride has gotten really bad. Small bumps felt like potholes, and anything larger than a bump felt like a cliff-dive into my spinal cord. Well, maybe not that bad, but you get the idea, just a very rough ride.

I had the suspension inspected, and of coarse feared the worse. Good news, the shocks and suspension were fine! The mechanic noticed a loose bolt on a sway bar and tightened it. The smooth ride I had when I first bought the car is completely restored!

Not sure if this is common, but hope it helps smoothen out those rides.

Good thing you had an honest mechanic....could'a had you over a barrel if he worked at a dealership...

Good to hear that is was not anything major. Can't beat just having to tighten a bolt.

Glad to hear it wasnt anything serious...
...actually I have recommended to vette friends/enemies that you inspect the nuts and bolts periodically...

I dont no why but some of them just dont seem to tighten enough to keep them from being loose next time you check...
Several fine mechanics have commented that they have encountered this anomaly quite frequently...
...In fact Stangkiller18 mentioned last night that he tighted every nut on the rear fascia before and when we took it off last night...the nuts could be loosened by hand
