I have a set of headers that have some surface rust on them. While I could clean them up and use some hi temp paint, I would like to know my alternatives, specifically a ceramic coating...
Does anyone know where I should have these done and the approximate cost? Also, what's the specific benefit over a hi temperature paint?

Josh,
Do not know of a local (NC) locale for this process. Check around with speed shops in your area and they can direct you.
I have JetHot coating on both of my Verts. It is great - no discoloration nor any issues with cracking or rust spots.
With the Hi- Temp paint I have found that over time it will eventually wear through (from heat).
JetHot coating should run in the $200-300 range. Good luck.
Sent my shorties to Jet Hot. Mentioned the Forum and got a discount. They do great work and are a pleasure to deal with. Check the link. It will tell you all about the advantages of ceramic coating.
