Default Question please.....

Looking to find a car carrier service that can transport my new vet from the west coast to the east coast. Anyone ever use a carrier and can recommend someone that has a good clean record? I've been told that there is a difference between a "carrier " and a "broker"...???
Thanks for your advice.

Look at one of the majors for enclosed coast-to-coast. Intercity (I've used them - very good), Horseless Carriage, Exotic Car Transport (Used then too, very good) and several others. A carrier is a principal (owns the business) and you deal with them. A broker sets up the deals with one or more carriers that they work with. Personally, I wouldn't use anyone one outside of one of the majors. Find a copy of Hemmings, they have listings of at least 50 carriers that do this kind of thing, large and small.

I have used Intercity and would highly recommend them. Also, noticed that FEDEX is now in the business.
