Default Oil Filter ???

I want to change my oil and filter but When I went to the parts store they said they only have in a AC filter (AC46) and Mobil1 filter. Not sure what filter to use. I am going to use Mobil1 oil 10w30. I live in Florida. I enjoy this forum. Thanks

Grass Hopper, I just did the same thing. The number has been changed.
The AC PF 46 is the new and correct number for the C5 (and C6).

The AC PF 46 is the filter that GM uses now (replaced the PF 44). That is a good filter.

I use the AMSOIL SDF32 filter.
AMSOIL SDF Oil Filter

Not that this is the most scientific test I've seen, but it is an independent verifaction that this is a good filter from someone other than me, who is obviously biased.

As a reminder for that that try AMSOIL:
The AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program allows you to buy any AMSOIL product at wholesale, which is about 15-20% less expensive than retail. Cost is $10 per six months and you can buy as much as you want during that six months. To sign up, all it takes is one phone call to 1-800-777-7094. Give them reference number 1206638.

Or you can use this link:
AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program
Again, please put 1206638 in the customer number block.
