I was washing my car and I noticed a lot of scrapes under the front Nose of the car? I didnt get them from parking in parking spot because I usally back in ? Is this normal? and If I was to get it fixed do I have to take off the nose of the car?
Depends on what's scraping. If it's the three rubber spoilers hanging down from the nose, then yes, it's normal. That's what they're there for. Get a razor blade and trim off the "fuzz" that comes from scraping on things. If they get really bad, you can get replacements for about $90. No big deal.
If we're talking the actual NOSE of the car, with scaping paint and all that really bad stuff, then NO, it's not normal. Get the nose fixed ($$$) and then buy some of those little wheels that go on the front to protect the nose from scraping.
I had those little wheels on the front of the car and it still didnt keep the dealership from scraping the "you know what" out of the underside of my NEW FRONT FACIA... Nice bright yellow and blue paint from the lift plastered under the front of the car.
So, what I am trying to say is... those little wheels will help... but it wont stop an idiot from damaging your car when it is getting repaired.

The car sits so low in the front that unless you are very careful, scrapes will happen. I know it doesn't take much to make it happen. The wheels you can install on the skid bars will help some. If the scrapes are getting bad enough, you can get it painted. You should not have to take the front fascia off, although it may make for an easier job.
I had a few scrapes, they were under the nose, nobody noticed them except me. I picked up some GM Torch Red spray paint from Fitchner, gave the scrapes a few passes with the spray paint and VOILA, I'm happy again!

I think alot of us have those scrapes on the underside of the car by the nose, sometimes it comes from turning down streets that the pavement is uneven and the front of the car dips down.I know it's their but no one else does just deal with it if you repaint it you will have thew same problem again.
My biggest problem with scraping is from the high concrete curbs when parking nose in. The nose of my car is always about 1 foot longer than I think it is. I think that I have finally learned to stop about 2 feet back from where I think the curb is.
