I was looking on PFYC's website at the Ultimate Dash process and was thinking that the Satin finish on the center console area would look nice (similar to new C6 interior). My understanding is that this is some type of coating process over the factory stock parts. Does anybody have this in their car? If so, how is the quality and appearance? Does it look like real aluminum and will it hold up to normal wear? Can you still see the plastic's texture, or is it thick enough to cover this? It is fairly expensive for what I want to do ($500-$700) so I am very concerned that the quality is there.
If PYFC uses the same company as Ken King then the finish is going to be top quality. They offer a 3 year warranty on there work. Iceburg has this process in Carbon Fiber look in his vert.

Didn't find pics of his interior after doing a search. Would love to see ppics of any finish that this process produced.

At least in the pics on PFYC's website the CF pieces look good. A satin aluminum finish would go good in the C5. Hope you find a quality vendor for these parts.
I have a ZO6 with all black interior. I thought the satin would look better on the center console as it would break up the starkness somewhat, but still keep that "high-tech" sports car look (ie. wood-grain in my opinion only belongs in a luxury car or SUV). The carbon fiber was what first caught my eye, but I think it is a little glossy for my taste...
I bought the carbon fiber version and it is OUTSTANDING in terms of quality and looks. It looks like what it should coming from the factory. PFYC has really great customer service as well. You can't go wrong with those guys!!
p.s. Want more advice.... Stay away from RK Sport. They wrote the book on Lousy service.
