Default Steering rack replacement

Has anyone done this recently? I was investigating a clanking noise when I had the steering wheel turned all the way to the right. It seems that there is a rip in the right dust boot on the rack, and there is a small fluid leak. I would like to replace the whole rack but I'm not sure if how hard it would be. Any DIY web write ups on this job? Also is 350.00 a good price for a remanufactured factory unit?

Shooting from the hip here, so please don't use this as a DIY guide.

- Jack up the car and remove the wheels.
- Disconnect power steering cooler and move it out of the way (if applicable)
- Disconnect tie rod ends (probably will need splitter)
- Disconnect steering shaft
- Disconnect hydraulic lines
- Unbolt and remove the two bolts from the front of the lower front subassembly
- Losen the rear two bolts from the lower front subassembly
- Pry down the front subassembly an inch or so
- Unbolt and pull the steering rack out of one side wheel well
- Install in reverse
- Check alignment as you had the front subassembly lose

Not the hardest thing I've done to the car, but not as easy as a rotor swap out.
