A true story.

I planned on spending between 8k and 10k on a car that would get me around with out fear of it breaking down every 5 minutes. Well that plan did not work out very well, and I settled on a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro for way more than I wanted to spend. The good news here is that I actually did not have a car payment for about 3 1/2 hours.
So Last night I bring home the new to me DD and all is well. My wife and I spent some time fawing or it and then took the kids for a ride in the new car.
All seemed well and we started to pack it in for the night. My wife and I put the kids to bed and went out for a smoke. (we don't smoke in the house...) After the smoke, we turned to go back into the house and I heard something strange. It sounded like a moan. At first I thought I was hearing things, but I heard it again. I asked my wife if she had heard it, and she said "no".
Later that evening I went out for another smoke, and I heard the moan 3 more times! Now I'm pretty sure I am not going crazy, but I heard what I heard. So now I am wondering what the heck is going on...but I went in and hit the sack anyways.
This morning I get up and set off to detail the new DD and I hear it again. Now I'm going WTF!
Then I hear it. I'm mad at you. I turned around and clear as day my Vette spoke to me! "I'm mad at you", she said. I said, "How could you be mad at me?" She replied, "because you think that little sliver thing is going to make you happy." I was shocked to say the least. I told her, "no-one could ever replace you, and you know it. You are just trying to bust my chops." She said, "Got ya!"
So I went about my business cleaning up the new DD and when I was finished, I gave the Vette a good once over. When I pulled her back into the garage and put the DD out in the driveway, I was pretty sure I heard her say...
"I love you too..."
Peace

It's when you start answering that people get worried about you.
In all, I got a warm feeling from your story, knowing I wasn't alone.

....sounds perfectly normal to me..........
