Amazing what a "Change Oil Soon" code will do for you!!!!
ROFL....Jim, you let your car go that long between oil changes?! You must have been in a drunken stupor!

stangkiller18, that looks great. That's something I want to do to mine someday. Not sure I have the guts to start removing body parts from my vette. I think it will look great on my white vette w/black motorsports tho....

Stang,

What rear end gears did you go with? 4.10 or 3.90

EDIT** Guess I should ask if you car is a A4 or MN6. By the looks of your ET's, I would guess an A4. Maybe a 3.73 was in order?

3.73, I was surprised how big of a step up it feels. I am allready running an M12 transmission thanks to Rodney!

After you break it in, shoot me a e-mail or IM about your new ET's . I am curious as to what change the gears will make on 60' and 1/8th and 1/4 times.

Car looks good BTW.

I gotta get a new rear end soon.

Then I'll start thinking about swapping the gears in my car, too.

Chris, great looking job on that rear fascia and glad to hear you are on the road again.

Just take your time with that break-in and do it right. 'Course I know you already knew that but wanted to re-inforce it anyway since I know it's been a long time for you from being behind the wheel.

The ring and pinion is perfectly safe, I just didnt' feel like building a new diff and not upgrading. But yes they are out of my original diff.
