i'm not really trying to make myself feel better, just having some fun, i can easily go out and buy a nice mustang for under $5000, so mustangs are not in the same league overall, yes there are some exceptions.

I guess I can argue both sides here. Dad has the Vette, I drive an Acura Legend.

I know exactly what you mean, though. I am constantly battling myself, what with my Mustang GT daily driver and my awesome weekend warrior vette. I find myself insulting myself while I'm driving the Mustang to work every morning. This is just getting to be too confusing . . .

glad your having some fun, lol, you almost sound offended though, at my ignorance, of your glorious sixty-something mustang. which by the way has alot to do with c5's. i'm glad you think your witty though, enjoy yourself. by the way my c5 is better than your mustang, cause in the end it's a corvette and thats a mustang. it's a fact jack!

Not offended just trying to get a free Vette off of your ignorance. My c5 is my current classic, my 67 notchback is was my first classic that is great at teaching people like you some humility. You have a great car everyone knows this. But to put others down because of thier choice of vehicle is rather childish. I could go on as to how many times I've had Vettes pull up to my stang and want to race then watch thier smiles fade a bit when they hear the lope of my cam see the car and the pure detroit sound out the back from my flowmasters but I I'd rather talk about how the guy in the vette was as much an American performance car enthusiast as I am and how we talked cars over a pint at the local pub.
But to each his own I guess.....
