It might be your exhaust plate. It's the aluminum plate that runs directly under your car. I do believe it's called a "Exhaust Plate". I was in the Car Aduio section and the guys over there were commenting about vibration or rattle from under the car when they add a sub. The common problem was a loose exhaust plate.
If you have the 6-speed, it rattles when you turn off the vette. If you engauge the clutch while turning off, you should not have the rattle. Very common on a manual vette.

Could be the exhaust - you may be able to find it by raising the car and testing the exhaust by shaking it. Try what Patches said also - could be the problem.
