I am still not sure what SS inserts are. Are you talking about the letters that you can insert into the 'corvette" on the rear end?
This is what I have for that:
Sorry it's not a close up...but the red lettering looks really hot. High recommend it.
Our vette is arctic white with a black interior. We bought it on ebay 4 months ago and love it. We got a nearly mint condition car. We thought the black interior needed a little color so we went with some red accents (as well as the red letters on the back end.

I've seen the red brakelight ones and have ordered the SS chrome ones. Once I saw them in person there was no question. I am waiting for their arrival as we speak. That and gage bezels and Z06 exhaust and chrome louvered tailight covers. I have been busy spending my Christmas money before I get it.
