Quick question"
I have stored my car for the winter, but have easy access to it.
I did not take the battery our though. Should I start it every 2-4 weeks and let it run for 15-20 min or just go ahead and take out the battery and let it sit until the spring (4-5 months)?
Will it make a difference to the motor, etc if I let it sit as opposed to starting it. Which is better?
The garage is not heated and it will get cold in the upcoming months.

get yourself a battery tender plus plug it in hook it up and forget about the car the battery tender will keep it charged for the whole time it is stored you can buy them at pep boys and other places carry them.Pep boys have them on sale now for $39.99.
I also store mine with a battery tender but start it and run to over 212 degrees oil temp every two weeks. I've heard that is best but there are other opinions. I don't like letting it idle that long (usually 1/2 hour) every two weeks, though. I hope I'm doing what is best.
Buy a battery tender, cheap insuranse for your car-as for starting the car every couple of weeks-GM and other car collectors say that is the worst thing you could do-leave it alone until you are ready to drive it-even if it spring
