Mine had one. Just use fishing line to cut it free, and possibly a hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Mine hadn't been on long, so it was easy. Follow up with a little wax, or even some Goop or something of the sort.
If they were stupid enough to drill holes to attach the thing, there's not much you can do.
I cannot BELIEVE these dealer prep guys still put these on a car, much less a vette.
Anyway, use a blowdryer to heat up the adhesive under the sticker a bit if it's a stick on and slowly work it loose, keeping it warm as you do so. Use GooGone or a paint-safe adhesive remover to clean the glue off.
Welcome
Try a hair dryer to get it soft peal off what you can than some goof off for the glue and a good cleaner wax.. I have also heard of using WD40..
Hard to tell without seeing what kind it is. Also depends on how long its been on the car. When I bought my 2005 Suburban a couple weeks ago it had a soft plastic logo on. I got a fingernail under it, ripped it off and handed it to the salesman... The hard plastic kind may also be "rippable". If not the string method will work. If its a true decal, ie. a thin plastic sheet, it could be very difficult to get off depending on the glue used. I've seen some that look painted on... Best bet on a new car, tell the salesman you won't accept delivery if they put one on.

I've removed many over the years with a hair dryer, but BE CAREFUL....not too much heat! The car is made out of Tupperware, after all!

I have the dealer remove mine before I took possesion of the car.
Just be thankful that it is sticker and not metal ones with the pins they used in the 70's

Make the dealer take it off.
But people in this country PAY money to advertise for free - example Nike sweaters, Michael Jordan baseball caps and so on.
I never understood that thinking (I use the word "thinking" loosely)
If I'm going to be a walking billboard - I want some serious dosh in exchange. (Dosh = Cash)

You guys from England always confuse us with your special terminology for other things such as Fanny

That's different...we willingly choose who we want to advertise for...you don't mind the Corvette emblems, which are advertising for Chevrolet & Corvette...but that doesn't mean we want to support the local dealers with additional advertisements on our cars...
And yes, I know some people remove all emblems from cars as well...

The smoother the better for me. Ideally, I want my car to look like GB Vette's ride - smooth and without advertising.
Everyone knows it's a Chevrolet Corvette - and for those that don't know - who cares??
I advertise for no one unless they are paying me - or I absolutely adore their products - like Glock for example
Point is - everyone here *expects* everyone else to advertise for them - for free. It's the American way (that's a joke before I get blasted out of the sky in flames!!!)
I took mine off as soon as I got my car also. But what kills me is that the moron's can't even put them on straight!! Besides being on your paint, it is crooked!!
I doubt consumers are influenced by Dealers stickers. Especially on the rear window of a Vette. (hope some of them read this) It cheapens the look on a $ 50K deal. who gives a D___ where it was bought ? we shop for the best deal, and then we spend the money on mods.
Bumper stickers anyone ?
