I bought a 1997 coupe last year. The car is great. Clean as can be. I bought the car sight unseen. The previous told me he would send me all the paper work on the car he had. It is one year later and No paper work. He moved from Sarasota, Fl and now lives in Las Vegas. He has changed his email and I don't know how to get in touch with him. He owens 8 tire stores in Vegas. I have asked several times for the information through his former email address. I am super happy with the car, but I think he is hidding something. Carfax is all in line. Any one know Chris Z. from Tuff Automotive from Sarasota.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. If Carfax checked out okay then why worry. I assume it is not leaking fluids, tires are wearing okay, etc. You gotta remember the car is 7 years old. Good luck.

Go to a GM Dealership. Have the service manager run the vin number. This will let you know whatever was done to the car. But I think you obtained this information when you Carfaxed it.

If the guy owns 8 tire stores in the city of Las Vegas, it isnt that big of a city. Knowing his name from the title should give you enough info to find him, or his stores. A simple search of tire stores in Las Vegas should show the one with eight outlets.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have the title. it's registered and I'm happy as can be with the car. People think it's brand new. I guess you are all right just enjoy the car.
