Default GHL's, Beware, Your gas mileage will decrease...

I just could not wait until Tuesday to put on the Magnums

The install went smooth, except for the fact that I had to drop the rest of the exhaust from the collectors back in order to cut in the
Corsa X-Pipe. I just could not get my saw-z-all in a position to cut threw the entire pipe. Alignment was very simple.

First I was suprised by the sound. It was really nothing like the sound clips I have heard. It is deep at idle, but the real suprise was mid throttle and up. It is way more "exotic" sounding than I anticipated. This was a great suprise, as I had debated the Corsa Indy's because of the "exotic" sound, but the idle sound was not appealing to me...

The overall volume of the exhaust was not as loud as I thought it would be, but is infact the perfect volume for my wants.

I can't say enough about the build quality, fit and finish. Simply outstanding. The same goes for Brian, Jeff and Cindy at GHL. They were outstanding during my decision making process, and order tracking, while I bugged them the entire time

My hat is off to GHL

Really all's I can say is WOW!

I'll get sound clips up after I give my wife her Christmas present...

Peace
Willfulone

OK, I admit it. I don't get the gas mileage comment.

I guess he keeps the pedal to the metal now to hear the exhaust roar.

Have found that, over the first couple o hundred miles, the sound 'matures', becoming deeper and a bit louder. It's a good thing.

We have to really watch it around here now . The surrounding townships have been makeing a killing on " inadequate exhaust". During the "cruise in" season now they set up on the streets that you can leave on and blanket ticket everything that moves. No decible meter required, just "tell it to the Judge". nice huh? I've left my Vette stock for that reason.

You can also save big $$ by not having to buy that CAGS eliminator. You will now never see that light come on.

Now that you have had a chance to hear them, how do they compare to stingers? Are they as loud? From what I have heard in sound clips, it is a deeper sounding exhaust. Glad you like them,

Need lots of pics, and sound clips.
