I bought a V1 and it has saved me at least 5 times. It has definitely paid for itself over and over and over...

If you get a detector just remember that it is a tool and not the rule. You're still open to instant-on radar, laser, and the good ol' physics equation rate = distance * time (a cop can time you between two points).

There is no replacement for awareness..

I have a bel RX-65 and it seems to work really well. But like everyone else is saying, there is no substitute for common sense.
