Default Flameball Help Pease

Recently purchased a flameball shift **** with the new LED wiring harness. The enclosed instructions speak of hooking up the wire with a splice to a hot wire (that part seems simple). The instuctions tell to ground the other wire to bare metal nearby. The problem comes in because the internet forum instuctions speak about connecting to the orange wire and the brown/white stipe wire next to it, on the traction control harness and says nothing about a ground wire. The enclosed harness has one connector and one grounding loop, so I really don't know where to go with this installation. Help, Help if you can.

Hopefully no one will help you put a flameball in a 50k car.

It will work out to your advantage.

I just clipped the ground lug off the led wiring harness and used another quick connector to connect per the internet forum instructions you mention. Worked great.
