What all is involved in replacing the front seat /center console carpet? Do you have to disassemble everything? How difficult is it??

The carpet is fairly easy to replace. It forms to the entire area in front of the seat, under the seat and up the side of the torque tube tunnel, or "center console", if you will. You must remove the seat and the door sill cover, and on the drivers side, the plastic piece up where your left foot goes. Put carpet in place, tuck it up underneath the console and shifter bezel, reinstall seat, etc. and your back in business. Easy job, I did it myself in under 1 hour a couple of weeks ago due to an ink pen that popped on the floor. Carpet was, however, a little over $400 at the dealer!!!!!

Very easy. Just take your time pulling the seat out to avoid scratches. Cover the sill with a large protective cloth and have the targa top out (or top down for a vert).
