I had a 1995 Vette that I traded last year for a BMW Z4. Bad mistake. I am now back in a 2000 torch red . very nice. I want to add black lettering front and back. I added lettering to my 1995 using the vinyl peal off. I had problems with it sticking everywhere but where I wanted it to stick. Is there anything out there that is easy to apply?
I have SS lettering to my Torch Red and in my opinoin they look lots better than black. The SS sets off the whole rear of the car and compliments the exhaust. Mine came as peal and stick letters. After the car was prepped with Denatured alcoho via a Q-tip I pressed them on. They fit well. Good luck.

I bought some vinyl lettering from Corvette Accessories Unlimited when I first bought my '00. I cleaned the area very well and stuck the letters on. They held up very well and when I went to take them off to install my current acrylic letters, it took me a while to get them loose from the fascia. Besides the vinyl and stainless steel ones you can buy, you may want to consider the acrylic letters - I got mine from Mid-America and they look great.
Go with ss inserts. I have them on my 01 mag red and they look great. Its a quality product and I'm sure they will look great on your torch red. www.ssinserts.com you won't be disappointed.
I have the S.S. letteres front & back.
Lost the front "V" recently and http://www.ssinserts.com/, where I bought them, replaced it free of charge! Great customer service & highly recommend!

I used the method that a local sign shop told me to do when applying vinyl. Wet the area with a soapy water solution as well as the back of the letters. Then slide the letters in place and gently push the water out with one finger while holding in place with the other hand. Slide the letters exactly where you want them and face the rear of the car towards the sun. As the water dries, the vinyl sticks. I have used this method on vinyl letters in the past and worked great for me.

Thanks for the tip. I got the Black Vinyl for my Torch Red this weekend and will use this technique.
