C5 vs C6

It's actually quite amusing over in the c6 section, I was just there looking around, and all they do is talk about how much better there c6's are as opposed to us poor c5 owners, who can't afford a c6. I think the c6 is an attractive car, but the c5 is more attractive. I can afford alot more than a c6, but I'll stick with my 04, I love it. I may buy a c6zo6 one day, if it's all that it's cracked up to be. Bottom line is, their car may be a little more up to date with gizmo's, and have a little more power(1/2 a car length light to light, at best), but it doesn't look as good. I guess maybe I would be pissed off too though, if I went out and bought a car to try and be better than a c5, and came out looking like c5's tiny, little puberty brother all dressed up in rice.

I have 2 C5s 1 Z06 and an 05.......and most of them are .....

jd: I'm with you ..... I have an 04 CE and this is my baby. I went to Carlisle at sat in an 05. We went to the factory and had an extended tour and watched them being bulit. My opinion, C5 rules. They can keep the 50 HP. I've been upgrading and I'm close.

Funny thing.. I was driving on Saturday and an Blue C-6 was approaching from the other direction. When we passed I waved. He looked at me like I had committed some kinda crime

Guess he doesn't get it. The C-6 is a decent enough car, and its the latest and greatest but.. it too will be surpassed by the C-7..It just the way it goes.

Yes I dont go over to the C6 section much to much trash talk over there,and I cant afford a C6 I would have to get rid of one of my other corvettes

Merry x-mas to you too my friend, just an observation or two, no more name calling, wish everyone had that mutual respect. It's more the c6 owners who have the problem, not the car. I also realize it's not all of them, so I wouldn't judge on the road.

Funny thing is the C6 cost the same as the C5 when it was new... so for C6 owners saying "us C5 owners cant afford a C6" is kind of.... well you know... anywayz...
