I just got a raise at work and am thinking I my C2 needs a friend. Anybody have a prediction on what a stock C5 vert with mid to low miles would go for in June?

I guess it depends on just how low miles you mean..there is a mag red vert (maybe coupe) sitting at Grossing Chevy in Palatine (lake cook and rt 12) I think they have the sticker on the windsheild saying around 39k...there is also a black Z06 (not sure what year) sitting next to it for about 32k and change....

Depends on the year and condition but a 2001 vert with lo miles and excellent shape would be about $34k from a private owner/classified ad and about $3k at least higher from a Dealer....maybe $2K less on each by next summer.

I know that will anger some owners, but we wannabes gotta get into the cars as cheaply as possible so that the mods can come on in a hurry.

Raise? What's that?
Depending on the year and equipment - the car could range anywhere from the low 20's to mid 30's. And, don't limit your search to cars that are local. I live in Phoenix, but I bought my car from a guy who lives in Hoffman Estates! I had a great time driving it back to Phoenix!
I've always heard, to get the best deal on a sports car, buy in the winter, to get the best deal on a 4x4, buy in the summer. The old supply and demand theory supports this.
