Just picked up a 10" P3 Rockford Sub, P3001 amp, cables, and a "IEC AULOC" adjustable line output converter (2 - 60 watts) (www.installedge.com, a rockford company).
Im just wondering if anyone here has used this line output converter to allow the amp/sub usage for hooking up to a stock bose stereo.
(p.s. i know its audio related, i just wanted to post it here because there are far more people here...and knowing from personal experiance i forget about the audio section a lot too...so mods, please leave this here...but move it if you must )
I don't know much about this but I heard or read with the converter your new radio must have high output mode if your using the Bose speakers. Good Luck!
I cant find a part number on it, this is all it says "IEC AULOC Adjustable Line Output Converter 2 - 60 watts." It was is the $20 range, I hope it works... The instructions say that you are suppost to hook it up between the amp and speaker in the rear to get the signal. Isnt this what you do with that GM approved one?
I don't have that particular piece, but I added an Alpine amp and 10" sub to my coupe and man what a difference!
And to add to the avatar comments, who is she?
