Default Still amazed after 18 months...

I bought my very first 'Vette in 2003. It is a 50Th Annie Coupe with the A4 and the 3:15 Gear. It only took me 50 years to get the first one. I had many muscle cars over the years, and sold a '94 Impala SS and a '67 GTO to get this one. My wife of 37 years sold her Maxima so that is why it is a A4 instead of the Yellow Z06 that was beside it on the showroom floor. We drove to Nashville, Tenn. for the 50th Celebration and had a ball. Last Sunday we got it out to drive to church. On the way home, I just had to let her breath just a little. With the cooler weather here in the Upstate of South Carolina, she really sets you back in the seat! It is hard to believe that this car has so much performance stock, and gets such great gas mileage. As so many others on this great forum, I still grin everytime I walk off from it in a parking lot! Have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year with a lot of seat time! Dream Vette!

I know what you mean. When I first bought mine, my orginal plan was to only drive it on weekends and maybe 1 day during the week. That plan lasted about 2 weeks! I now drive it every day and my other car is a Lexus! I can't help it, I love driving it, I can't stay out of it.

My Lexus just sits there under a car cover.

Same here. I wondered how long I would enjoy this car and whether the grin would wear off. After 2 years and 36K miles I'm still grinnin' !

I'm pickin' up what you're throwin' down!

I was out washing and waxing mine yesterday, and I kept standing back and looking at her...and this is 5 years and a lot smiles later!

I still get this huge grin on my face every time I get in my car, even after four years. These are amazing vehicles.
