RPO Codes
I know I've seen some on line, but I can't seem to find these. Must be getting old.
Generals Code decal in the GB gives the following
either a LS2 or L52,
also a WD2,
then a G90 followed by G92, and (Think this is 3.14's but one site said G92 was Performance) and 3.14's were another code.
then a FE1 followed by FE3.
Engine is a LPE 383 so I know that then engine codes are history.
Anyone know what these are.
Also have a bunch of others that I just can not find.

I found some of them in a word document that someone (patches, ET maybe) posted awhile back. Originally written by Bob Craig.
LS1 or LS6 (if it's a Z) is the only "L" code reference I can find. No mention of L52 or LS2
WD2 is a "Factory Prototype" reserved for future model year cars built during the current year vehicle production.
G90 is Axle, Rear, 3.15 Ratio
G92 is Axle, Rear, Performance Ratio
FE1 is Base Suspension System
FE3 is Suspension System, Sport (part of Z51)

The C6's ALL have LS2 on their RPO tag.

If I am not mistaken, the WD2 means it is or was a pilot car.
I'll check into that a little and edit this reply later.
EDIT:
WD2 "Factory Prototype"

Apreciate it.
I went to Bob's site also but did not see the WD2. Just revisted it and found it.
I just checked the codes again and yup its either LS2 or L52
Strange!!
Probably the type of cigarette lighter
or someone at BG playing pranks.
e.g.
FE1 followed by FE3
G90 followed by G92
L1 followed by either LS2 or L52.
Got to get my digital camera fixed and get a picture of it to post as there are others codes I just can't locate.
Thanks again.

FYI, not all of the codes on the parts ID tag are "options." Many are standard "build codes" that don't have a corresponding orderable option.
