We got our butt kicked by old man winter over the holidays. Cincinatti OH area.
I was at work and the EMT's did really well in the snow (bout 4" )on the way home, they hadn't plowed or salted yet.
They still hav'nt. I pay taxes for what??????????????
Washed it (yep in the snow) sprayed the underside and put it in the garage.
Was really surprized how well it handled and didn't get tire spin.
Supposed to be 65 starting Thursday sooooooooooooooo!!
The stock runflats definitely handle snow better than people give them credit for. I have had no problems making it through light snow here with my runflats. The traction control doesn't even need to kick in very often. On inclines I simply use the second gear start feature to help get moving more easily. I was planning on replacing my runflats with some Pirelli P Zero Nero M&Ss (to match the pair I have up front) but now that my mom has offered to lend me her car when we get hit with a snowstorm, I'll just keep going with my runflats. They were new when I bought the car in August, so they've got tons of tread on them. I'll replace them next fall with the Pirellis, they should be done by then.
