This is strange...
I installed the skip shift eliminator yesterday, took the car out for a test drive and it worked perfectly. Then this morning I fire it up, pull out of the driveway, and it comes on for about a second. Any idea what's going on?

They light will always work, but the resistor will by bypass the Cags
Do not disconnect the light, you will set a code.

My CAGS is disabled with LS1 Edit which also shuts the indicator light in the IP off.
Otherwise, you will see the light when the CAGS is supposed to be energized. But, it won't, since you have the eliminatior installed.

I was surprised when the skip shift light came on as well. I guess the LS1 edit is the way to go if you don't want the light to go on.

The light still comes on even with the CAGS eliminator installed. It just allows you to shift to second any time you want.
