I have noticed a few posts recently about forum members troubles with various Chevy dealers. If you have had a bad time with one list the name of the dealer here, and help keep it from happening to another member and at the same time maybe ruin a little business for the dealer that screwed you. try to keep it short and list the dealers name in CAPITAL letters so its easy to scan thru the post and see the various names. Mine was FRANCINNI CHEVROLET in New Jersey total garbage lowlife keepaway .. next
I'd agree that no one wants to deal with a bad car dealership. But we only see one side of any story here and in some cases it has been the owner that was being unreasonable.
I'd rather just see Forum members ask for recommendations than start a "let's slam the dealers" forum.
I would go back to my HONDA of Cincinnati dealer in a minute! Of course I can't say that because, according to you "I" might be the reason they were good?!?! They know how to take care of a customer and the vehicle.
I have heard MANY complaints about JAKE SWEENEY CHEV and if their poor customer service and vehicle care is a SLAM... then it's a self inflicted slam!!!

Why not do the positive thing and list dealers and mechanics where members have had a good experience? I would like to see a geographical listing so I could choose service based on GOOD experiences. It might even motivate some shops to work harder to make THE GOOD SERVICE LIST. Our motto could be "you better watch out...you'd better be good...because CF member are keeping a list."

This is a much more mature response. Sure we would all like to "get even", but think of this way .... the list will be MUCH, MUCH, shorter and faster to scan if it's only the GOOD dealers!
Whe I had a problem with a recall on my 2004 Corvette, I talked to my salesman, Gary Lester at Lone Star Chevrolet in Houston. He got the general manager, who got the service manager, who got the service writer, who got the mechanic, and all went into the service managers office and called Bowling Green. That was at 10:00 AM, my car was ready at 3:00 PM. I couldn't ask for a better dealership, and people that will go out of the way to help you.
I posted a thread six months ago asking for positive feedback , or a really great experience with a dealer.. with 80 post and 1250 hits... I got one post that said they had their oil changed at so and so dealer and everything went smooth ... the other 79 were slams...

I'm sure there are bad dealers out there. But there are also good ones. My dealer, Putnam Chevrolet in California, MO is a small dealership, but they do know how to take care of their customers. I have never had a bad service experience with them.
I know this is not a bad experience, but there are two sides to every story.

Since aimed at me - nope, I'm not a Chevy dealer and I have nothing to do with GM at all.
Nor do I necessarily not believe your having legitimate complaints about a dealership. The same is true about many of the dealer complaints I've read here.
But as I said, there is usually two sides to any story, and I've seen a number of threads starting out as rants against dealers only to have them debunked by other CF members.
If you want to take your Vette to a Honda dealership, then by all means - go for it.

Agreed.
Friendly Chevrolet in Puyallup, WA is a good dealership, in my opinion. Great salesman, great service writer, and great technicians that worked on my ride. I was encouraged to watch my car being worked on and to ask any questions I might have had.

Back to my original post. I take my Vette's to a small dealer right outside NASA....Norman Freede. I think most of the astronauts bought their vetts there. They aren't a big Vette dealer but if you live on the south side of Houston give them a try. My wife bought her first vette from Norman's wife. All of the service people are super friendly.
