Stripping clear coat off wheels???
Just picked up a set of polished 5 spoke wheels. The clear coat has chips and peeling from wheel wieghts. Does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to strip off the clear coating from the wheels?

Mid-America at least used to sell some clear coat stripper. Not sure how well it works, but may be worth contacting them. Ecklers may sell the same stuff.
