A buddy of mine has a 1998 C5 he wants to sell. Its Torch Red 20k original miles auto. coupe. It has brand new Firestone run-flats and the stock wheel have been chromed. It has black interior and looks sharp.

That's low mileage - but I think I'd offer about $20K I assume that the car has been well maintained (regular oil changes, and other routine maintenance, etc.). If you're serious about this car - you might consider sending a private message to CF member SpongeVette and ask him if he would be so kind as to run yet another VIN to see the service history, and the other pertinent data. That really sounds like what you are looking for, Darth. Really low miles make this seem like a winner. Go for it. It's the right color too!
Exactly. Would you rather have a 97 with 5k miles or a 2001 with 30k miles? You have to find a balance, theres so many vettes for sale out there low miles doesnt always mean worth a fortune more than other cars the same year.
Example: Local dealership took a 2000 with 37k on it in for $19000 and a really clean car. The next week they took another 2000 in with 22k miles and also really clean..they paid $19700 for it.
Buy what makes you happy at a price YOU think is fair.
P.S. BTW those are wholesale dollars and not what you or I would ahve to pay for them.
