What is hypertech program?
I'm looking at a 2002 EB and it is advertised at 420 h.p. with "hypertech program(mer)". What exactly is that and does it add 15 h.p to an otherwise stock Z?
Also, how much, if any, does it add to the value of the car.
Any info. would be appreciated.

The programer adds nothing to the value of the car. The programer can be be purchased for $309 plus shipping. It is a programing tool for a stock engine, firm up shift points for automatic transmission cars, couple other modifications.
The diff between 405hp and the 420hp is not very noticeable.
Don't pay extra for it!
