I am sure you could get one through a bookstore or chevy dealer. I got both books for my 2001 from the previous owner. You only need the ISBN number... anyone got it for the 1997 model?

The set in PATCHES link is the only one available, although they are available from a number of vendors. The "typical" bookstore manuals (Chiltons, etc.) are not available for C5's due to their complexities! Others on the forum have positive comments on manuals on CD. I found my used set of shop manuals (set of 3) on E-bay.
PS - As I've stated before, the purchase of the shop manuals WILL BE the best money that you will ever spend on your car. Its an excellent way to really learn about the car. I learn something new every time I open mine!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! (After you kiss your wife at mid-night, don't forget to kiss your car! It needs attention, too.)

Yes, you can buy them. Call Bob in the Parts Department of Fichtner Chevrolet. He can set you up with a set. Cost is a little over $100 (maybe $125) for the three volume set.
